Donovan still has stories to tell. This time the cast of characters includes some new comers. Some good, some not so good, and some that remain a mystery. Love the action, hate when someone I really like dies, and find the plot to be interesting and different. This is one story Donovan has to tell but there are more waiting as the story ends. This is typical Nancy Kress as in nothing in the plot is typical. What starts as an accident war moves on to follow different characters as some try to win and some try to stop the coming action Interesting concepts, a different conclusion and a hard to put down story.

Interesting but typical of the middle books of a trilogy. There is a lot going on as more is revealed. The characters are more fully developed and the world building is more complete. The action is there to get everyone in place for the next book. Nothing is really settled. Just awaiting the next book in the Women's War series.

I said goodby to Ish to soon. This time there is A Seeker's Tale. Ish meets up with an old friend from the first books. Pip is off on a mission and he talks Ish into going along. This is a series set up with some old friends and some new. Also a ship from the past. Great intro with interesting plot features.

Four years have passed and Ish has just finished the Academy and is off to his first posting. Again he see things and does things that bring change and put him on the hot spot. This is not a happy ship but Ish sees ways to make that change. However there are some who do not want change putting Ish in danger. Loved the ending.

Librarian-spy Irene and dragon-prince Kai are off again. This time they are working on a trade that goes very wrong. There is tension and danger making it a fun read. I did feel that the plot was a little thin and the conclusion left a lot up in the air. Still a nice addition to the series.

Low Key

A nice walk through a future age. The solar sailing is part of the story but really just a nice side element. The main characters are the crew. We follow them on the every day events and watch as they grow and change. There is no danger or tension to the story It is as I said a nice walk in a future time. First in a series. A very good read for any one who likes a low key plot line.

Two Points of View

There is no mystery of who done it. The story has two points of view - the woman who plans a murder and Ali as she tries to find and stop her.. A interesting story line. It has the tension even as it does not have the mystery. It was fund to see Ali again. Hope to see more of B soon. Once again he was off on business.

The Duke is Back

The Duke of Everingham is back and he wants what he wants. Just so happens that Lady Georgiana Rutherford does not want what he wants - to marry her. A fun romp using familiar tropes in a interesting story that grabs your attention and does not let go. Great addition to the Marriage of Convenience series.
