Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers.
I am reading Angels of Darkness by Nalini Singh, Ilona Andrews, Meljean Brook and Sharon Shinn. My teaser is from Sharon Shinn's story Nocturne (page 245).
"Like Alma, the angel was waiting for me, or so it seemed: He had turned his chair so it faced the door, and his whole posture was alert. Even his wings were less dispirited, arching behind his back as if they had been plumped and groomed."
Hmmm, wonder what he's waiting for? Good teaser. Here's MY TEASER!

I have this book in my TBR pile. So many books, so little time. Shinn is the only author I haven't read in that grouping.
