A Week to Be Wicked is the third book in the Spindle Cove series although most of the book does not take place in Spindle Cove.  Minerva Highwood is sure that Colin Sandhurst, Lord Payne is going to ask her sister Diana to be his wife.  Diana is a wonderful person but Minerva does not think Colin is the right man for her so she comes up with a plan to divert Colin.  That is just the start of a mad adventure that takes the two of them all the way to Scotland.

Tressa Dare’s books are full of humor and A Week to Be Wicked is no exception.  Minerva and Colin’s interactions brought both smiles and chuckles as I was reading.  Neither were lightweight characters.  They both had their demons to deal with.  The story allowed each character to grow and change while they battled with problems that threaten to sabotage their journey.  All in all this was a fun read with a well though out plot and a good satisfactory romance.  I look forward to the next book in the Spindle Cove  Series.

I requested and received  a copy of A Week to Be Wicked from Edelweiss only to find that I had it on pre-order from Amazon.  When the book arrived I read the paper copy not the eARC.
