I had very mixed feeling about Master of Love. Dominick Avery played on his looks and
acted like he cared about only having a reputation as a lover. He never let people know how smart he
was and all the time he was whining to himself about how no one would ever take
him seriously. I found him to be
something of a wimp and wondered why some one as strong and intelligent as
Callista even bothered with him.
On the other hand I loved Callista. She did not whine aloud or to
herself. I did enjoy parts of the
story. It just seemed that to make
it work some parts were rushed and some parts were rather contrived.
