My Thoughts on A Gentleman and a Rogue:
One is the past and the other is the future. That is the dilemma facing Edmund Windsor and Keira Russell. Edmund is the future but he knows that Keira who is the past will never leave her work or her family to follow him to the present. Edmund is not sure he wants to stay in the past. That makes them star-crossed lovers and it seems they are at an impasse. While romance is at the heart of the story there is more to it than that. When the Windsor’s traveled to the past before two things happened. They changed history and now they are back to set everything right. There is a contest to choose the right fuel for the future and Keira’s compressed natural gas should win. Keira wants a fair contest. The Windsor’s want to insure a win and are prepared to sabotage the other contestants.
What was the other thing that happened on that first trip? Edmund and Keira fell in love but Edmund left. Kiera does not want to risk her heart again.
A Gentleman and a Rogue is a fun story with interesting characters and several problems that the characters must solve. It is fun to follow and fun to see what else might have been if different choices had been made in how to fuel our lives.

Excerpt from A Gentleman and a Rogue:
Rex appeared in the doorway, stoic as ever, with a
tray of food. He placed the tray on a nearby table. "The Windsors are here
to see you."
Keira jumped to her feet. Her heart accelerated in
her chest. Alice and Edmund! Heaven help her. She needed to shore up her
willpower when it came to Edmund. Setting her shoulders, she followed Rex down
the hall to the vestibule located just off the main entrance.
Alice stood in a simple blue muslin dress and
fussed with her reticule. She always did her best to dress for comfort. Edmund
wore a brown vest over a white shirt and pressed trousers. His frock coat hung
over his arm.
"Keira!" Alice rushed forward and wrapped
her into a warm embrace. Keira returned Alice's strong hug with one of her own,
realizing she'd missed Alice more than she thought she would.
Edmund cleared his throat.
Keira glanced up. "Hello, Ed."
His eyes smoldered with desire. "Keira."
Oh, his red, pouty lips were like chocolate --
tempting her to take another bite. She looked at Rex. "Can you bring
appetizers and coffee to my study?"
He arched an eyebrow. "Coffee, My Lady?"
"Yes, coffee."
