Book two of The Brides of Bliss
County finds Melody Nolan the focus of Spence Hogan, the local chief of
police. The problem – Melody does
not trust Spence. It seems they
were an item years ago and Spence ended up breaking Melody’s heart. Now Spence wants her back and he must
work very hard to win her trust.
I like the fact that it was Spence
that had to do the hard work in getting back with Melody. He has know for some time that he wants
her back but she is having none of it. That gives the story a different
twist. Spence has to show a lot of patience and it is fun to watch him suffer
as he does.
Miller is good at putting together a fun romance and The Marriage
Charm is no exception. Melody and
Spence have a great story for this second book in the series. It can stand-alone but I recommend
reading The Marriage Pack first.
Some of the action and dialog would be better understood if you had.
