Book Beginnings and The Friday 56 - November 25, 2016
I'm linking up with Rose City Reader for Book Beginnings and Freda's Voice for Page 56. Check out the links above for the rules and for the posts of the participants each week. Pick the closest book on your book stack and join the fun.
The Beginning:
"DENVER -Excitement mounts on the eve of this landmark conference, the first of its kind in werewolf history."
Page 56:
"You didn't like the idea of me taking a call from my lover right under your nose, after we'd confessed we were attracted to each other. I get that."
From Vicki Lewis Thompson's Werewolf in Denver a Wild About You Novel. I won a signed copy of this from the author. It is still on my TBR pile but as soon as I get some of my reviews done it is the next to read. It sound like a really fun book.
That does sound like a fun story. I am a real fan of werewolf books. I'm reading The Elizabeth Papers by Jenetta James this week. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI don't usually enjoy hanging out with werewolves...but this one does look tempting. Enjoy! Here's mine: “IN A DARK, DARK WOOD”
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy it.

It sounds like a different take on the werewolf story, where the werewolf isn't the antagonist. Cool! Happy reading!

ReplyDeleteMy Friday 56 from The Nature Of Balance
This sounds like a good one. Enjoy the book once you get to it! :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the cover. I use to read vampire romances all the time. I've never read a werewolf story. I hope your readers will check out mine... http://tinyurl.com/LisaKsBookReviewsSOTG

ReplyDeleteIt's always fun to win things! :)
