Miss Delectable by Grace Burrowes
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Two great characters who are not top of the ton. Miss Ann Pearson and Sir Orion Goddard are upper class but not near the top. Ann works as a cook and is really a chef but being a woman she is not allowed that title. Orion is the subject of nasty suspicions The two are a great match. Add the other characters and the other troubles and you have a hard to put down plot. Loved the action and the resulting HEA.

Fun
Inferno: Alien Castaways 5 by Cara Bristol
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Poor Inferno! He had to learn patience and his geminate had to learn trust. Both had a very hard time getting together. I loved how Inferno is so different from his appearance. Great addition to the series. Look for hook for next book.

New Series
The Last Goodnight by Kat Martin
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Don't expect this one any time soon. I got my Kat Martin books confused and read the Oct one. No spoilers but a interesting set of characters. Lots of action and romance with a mystery until the end. Start to a new series and it looks very good.

Lots of Laughs
A Good Day for Chardonnay by Darynda Jones
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Second in the series and full of over the top scenes that left me laughing so hard it was difficult to breath. I loved how everything came together as different scenes wove a complete picture. Sunshine just cannot catch a break but in the end it is a good day.

Lots of Laughs
Apple of My Eye by Alyssa Day
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I started this series with book 7 so there were some things I missed. Even so it does a good job of standing alone. I loved the laughs that are a big part of the dialog. Great job with the mystery and that Tiger is really something else.

Interesting Prequel
Where There's a Will by Janna MacGregor
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
A short and sweet prequel to Janna's new series. We meet the three ladies, three books, three ladies. We also meet additional characters who will be important to the series. We also see the problem all three have. What a mess. A plot full of fun. First book comes out this month and I have it on pre-order.

New Series: (The Brides of Bellaire Gardens #1)
The Scoundrel's Daughter by Anne Gracie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Two great female main characters. Each with secrets in their past and each confronts them when they come out. Both also find their HEA. Gracie writes really interesting characters and put them to the test. First is a new series it is off to a really great start.

Last Strand and Last Book
Last Strand by Jennifer Estep
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Last Strand and last book in the series. This wraps the plot line up in a very entertaining way. Gin and friends finally win out on the one trying to kill them all. Loved the ending and the story line moved in an interesting way. This kept my attention throughout the book.

Light Reading
Stealing from Mr. Rich by Anna Hackett
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
She does not want to steal but to save her brother she will. Of course the victim turns out to be her perfect romantic match. A well used plot point in a story that is heavy on sex and light on other attraction items. Quick read so great for when you want something light and fluffy.

Interesting Plot
Lord Ares by Jade Lee
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Lilah Rees meets Aaron at a ball and proposes. She wants a home and family, he thinks love is a trap. This is a nice end to the Lords of the Masquerade. Both are great characters with strong opinions. Their trip to a HEA is full of fun moments, tension, romance and a story line that includes previous characters in the series.

Great Characters
Murder on Wall Street by Victoria Thompson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Sarah Brandt Malloy and Frank are pulled into a murder investigation. Along the line they encounter other interesting new and previous characters who play a important role in the story. I was surprised by who done it and they did it not once but twice. This is a very good addition to the story. At time I have worried that the series would end but here the story line, the plot and the characters still shine. Way to go Victoria Thompson.

Great Vacation
Holiday for the Alpha: A Badari Warriors Novella by Veronica Scott
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Daegan needs a change and Flo knows just what to do to give it to him. Love the look at the two as they are off on their own. Flo really gave Daegan the change of location that he needed. Of course it did not all go as planned but the change kept it interesting. Nice side story in the Badari Warriors series.
