This is a year I am happy to see end.  A move that did not go well, a back injury that was slow to heal and then the VIRUS.  I have been very isolated and see more to come.  At least the vaccine is in the pipeline so hope is in the air.  Thanks to all who have followed me.  You may have noticed that everything happening affected my reading.  Not as many books and most of what I did read was novella length.  Hope to do better in the coming year.

New Danger

Jamokan: A Badari Warriors SciFi Romance NovelJamokan: A Badari Warriors SciFi Romance Novel by Veronica Scott
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Another Alpha bites the dust. Jamokan needs to change his thinking and who better to do that than a woman from Earth. Finding a mate is not easy and this journey is no different. There are things outside the norm as the two are first thrown together and then on the run. Loved how Rosemari Parcher used her time with humans and Badari to see things that need to be changed. Great addition to the story. The Khagrish have come new twists up their sleeves. They are becoming even more of a problem as the story arc progresses.

Trilogy's End

The Queen's Triumph (Rogue Queen, #3)The Queen's Triumph by Jessie Mihalik
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A good ending to this trilogy. Samara. and Valentine finally get to their HEA but not before one other character has to bite the dust. A lot of tension and danger as the two work together to end the threat. Also a lot of romance. Loved the ending.

Don't Bother

Earth Alone (Earthrise, #1)Earth Alone by Daniel Arenson
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

This is so redundant I started just skimming. Nothing to make me want to read further. At least I did not pay to read anything this bad.

Light Hearted

Bailed Out (The Anna Albertini Files, #2)Bailed Out by Rebecca Zanetti
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I love Anna Albertini and everything she gets into. While there is a murder and a mystery this is at heart a light hearted series. There is one scene I dare anyone to read without dissolving into laughs. Great second book in series. Oh! While I love Anna I also adore Aiden.

Much Lighter

Archangel's Sun (Guild Hunter, #13)Archangel's Sun by Nalini Singh
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

a nice change pace for the series. There are still thing that have to be hunted down and destroyed but the whole feeling of the book is much lighter. Titus is a fun character and Hummingbird is more than his match. There are some funny moments as the two interact. Of course they face danger as well. I loved both characters. they fit the story and the arc of the plot.

Fun

As You DesireAs You Desire by Connie Brockway
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A fun read. This was a recommendation by another author. She said it was a fun reread. It is also a fun first read. The characters are somewhat typed but they fit the story. Egypt is the big star in the book.

Great Addition

Emerald Blaze (Hidden Legacy, #5)Emerald Blaze by Ilona Andrews
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Issues get resolved at least some do. Again there is danger and the fight t0 stop it. In the end personal relationships get straighten out and while some things are stopped some people escape for future stories. Fun series.
