#50 in Series

Golden in Death (In Death, #50)Golden in Death by J.D. Robb
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Eve has a new case, in fact two new cases. They appear to be from the same person but why these two who do not have a connection. Great new case. Roarke is more a side character in this one. Eve and team do most of the work with just a little help from the civilivan consultant. One of the better books in the series.

Another Great Series to Catch Up On

Knight Protector (Star Kingdom #5.5)Knight Protector by Lindsay Buroker

I loved the characters and the afterward where Lindsay told how she decided on the characters. Both are just a little different and their path to romance is not at all smooth. Great to know they will show upon later Star Kingdom books. This is a stand alone but after reading I need to read all the Star Kingdom books.

Great Series

Space Specter (Interstellar Sheriff #3)Space Specter by Jenny Schwartz
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Max and Thelma return and go one a new adventure. They know something is off about the journey they are about to take but just cannot find out what until the unthinkable happens. This has all the elements that a great story needs. There is danger, tension, romance and a great plot with some very unexpected twists. Hope this is not the last. I love the series and would love to see another story featuring the new baby. (Are you listening Jenny Schwartz)

New Series

Termination Shock (Interstellar Enforcement Agency, #1)Termination Shock by Gillian Andrews
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I felt like I strolled through this book. There was a lot going on but it just did not get in any hurry to get all the world building, backstory, and character development revealed. I liked the concept. The world building was new. The characters were interesting and the plot kept my attention. First in the series I will be interested in seeing where it goes in the next book.

Nice Addition

Landon: A Badari Warriors SciFi Romance Novel (Sectors New Allies Series Book 11)Landon: A Badari Warriors SciFi Romance Novel by Veronica Scott
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A nice addition to the series. Landon and Mandy both bring interesting skills and background to the Badari World. The danger and tension are there but not the overwhelming part of the story. That is the new background on the Badari and how it effects both Landon and Mandy. There is a new wrinkle in the story, one that might bring new danger in the future. Just have to wait and see what develops.

Fun Read

The Vanishing (Fogg Lake #1)The Vanishing by Jayne Ann Krentz
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This pretty much follows the form of Krentz's other paranormal romances. Two people who are not normal because they have a paranormal talent that sets them apart from others. There is a interesting back story that explains Fogg Lake. A mystery that needs to be solved and soon as others are closing in. That leads to danger, tension, romance, and a really fun story. First in a new paranormal series I look forward to book two.
