Last Billionaire goes down but not without a fight. However Mav and Remi do not fight it that long. turns out they are perfect for each other. This is a good ending to the Billionaire trilogy. Now when will we get Vander's story. He keeps popping up but still no HEA.

Hate to Love

Someone Perfect by Mary Balogh

The Westcott just keep adding characters to write about. This is a standard hate to love trope. It was predictable but enjoyable to read. As this is book 9 there are a lot of relationships to keep up with and a lot of the book spends its time tying all the many previous characters into this story line. That did break up to plot as it ground to a halt during that time.

Number 5 in the Series

Wave Rider by Michelle Diener
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I love the Verdant String series. Once again Diener has delivered a great story set in one of the planets of the String. There is romance, danger, tension all making a hard to put down story. I loved the interesting mammals that play an important part in the series. Can stand alone but is better if you have read the previous installments in the series.

Oh How The Mighty Have Fallen

The Duke Goes Down by Sophie Jordan

A good start to a new series. One Duke is exposed as illegitimate so no longer a Duke. One parson's daughter who has a history with that Duke. Now he gets his comeuppance and she is part of the reason he is caught out in a lie told by his parents. Very good character building and a interesting plot. Now for the next in the series. Is it the person how takes his place and becomes the Duke. I hope so.

Not Boring

A Duke in Time by Janna MacGregor

I read the prequel and really liked it. There I met the main characters in The Widow Rules series. As I started A Duke in Time I thought that I knew just what was going to happen and I settled down to be a little bored. That did not happen. I did not know what was going to happen and I was surprised to see all the different paths that Janna MacGregor took Katherine Vareck and Christian down. They did arrive where I expected but the journey was anything but boring.

Interesting Problem

Blackmailing Mr. Bossman by Anna Hackett
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A little different from what I expected. I got caught up with the problem and how the two main characters reacted to each other. I found the problem hard to believe but it did make a lot of tension as the story line developed. Look for crossover characters form Hackett's other series.

Also From Kickstarter

 I also got a short story and a novella set in the diving Universe when I joined the Kickstarter.

Huches, a short story was a quick interesting read and Maelstrom a different type of story line.  Both are set in the Diving Universe but are side stories with new characters and settings.

Lots of answers and lots of questions

The Chase: A Diving Novel by Kristine Kathryn Rusch
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Everything comes together at the end or is it everything falls apart at the end. This takes a ride with several different groups and several different levels of technology. Boss and Coop have a wild ride and in the end are left with more question than answers. This comes out in Oct but I got it easy by participating in the Kickstarter to finance the story. Now I am waiting for the next part of this saga. The Diving Novels have a lot left to reveal. Hope a new Kickstarter arrives soon.
