Musing Monday, October 7, 2013

Musing Mondays (http://shouldbereading.wordpress.com/) asks you to muse about one of the following each week…
MusingMondays5• Describe one of your reading habits. •
Tell us what book(s) you recently bought for yourself or someone else, and why you chose that/those book(s).

I just want to ramble on about something else pertaining to books — so hear it is!

Like many of you I email have several authors and fellow bloggers who live outside the United States.  One lives in Malaysia and in a recent email from her I found this at the bottom.

**COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENT: This email has been intercepted by several government intelligence agencies**

It turns out she put it there as a joke but I wondered how many of us my have our emails looked at because we are in touch with people all over the world.

I've never thought to hard on it, but I do wonder how much of what we believe is being sent privately, does get looked at by someone, somewhere!

The thought of it is disturbing...just as when we mail things out of the country, the packages are opened and reviewed.

This I know because my son lives in Berlin and has told me.

Gah! I would've gotten so paranoid if I saw something like that. Good thing you got clarification on it though. Thanks for dropping by my blog :)
