From Awaken Me Darkly, An Alien Huntress Novel, by Gena Showalter. This is the first book in the series. I purchased it quite a while ago when it went on sale for 2.99. It is still in my TBR pile but I have to say I do love the beginning.

 Awaken Me Darkly (An Alien Huntress Novel) by Gena Showalter -  This a book id the first in the Alien Huntress series.  I picked up when it was marked down to $2.99 for the paperback.  It is still on my TBR pile slowly working it way to the top.

My teaser today if from Awaken Me Darkly (An Alien Huntress Novel) by Gena Showalter.  This is book on in the series.  The publisher has reissued the book and priced them at $3.99.  Walmart had them for $2.99.  I have not read any of the series so I picked up book one.  I haven't started reading yet; I just opened the book up and picked a teaser.  It is as much one for me as for all of you.

"Side by side, Dallas and I pounded down the steps, taking them three at a time.  Still dizzy from Lilla's mind control, Dallas wasn't as agile as he normally was.  He stumbled once and had to grip the banister to keep from tumbling face first."  page 49

My teaser is from Wicked Nights by Gena Showalter.  This is a "new series featuring angels poised on the brink of destruction."The description is from the back of the book.

I am almost finished with the book.  Because the plot was familiar I have not enjoyed the book as much as I thought I would.  This is the first Gena Showalter book I have read and I think if had read the previous series I would have liked this one more.
