The theme, a younger son must marry and produce an heir because the older brother has only daughters and can have not more children, came from a fan. The author’s invited fans to submit ideas and the best were put up for a vote. This theme was the overall favorite and won the vote.

While each story had some similarity the actual stories were very different. I was more familiar with Stephanie Laurens and Mary Balogh than with Jacquie D’Alessandro and Candice Hern. As it turned out while I liked each story Candice Hern’s was my favorite.
