A Night to Surrender is another book where I was laughing so hard I could not continue reading. The scene where they scare the sheep and Susanna meets Victor Bramwell for the first time is right up there with the “her Mother being picked to death by pigeons” scene in Just Like Heaven by Julia Quinn.
Susanna Finch and Lt. Colonel Victor Bramwell appear to be oil and water and Spindle Cove cannot stay the same once they meet and match wits. Full of great characters and a wonderful story A Night to Surrender is a fun read and I will be looking for the next book in the series.
