Book Beginnings and The Friday 56 - August 12, 2016

I'm linking up with Rose City Reader for Book Beginnings and Freda's Voice for Page 56. Check out the links above for the rules and for the posts of the participants each week. Pick the closest book on your book stack and join the fun.

Maker Lab: Make Your Own Science ExperimentsThe Beginning:

"When my brother and I were growing up, our mom taught us how scientists answer their question. They use a process called the scientific method After this, we spent a lot of time in the kitchen doing classic experiments, just like the ones you'll find in this book."

Rubber Band Planets

"All these planets, the sun and lots of smaller objects such as moons are together called the solar system. You can make beautiful models of all eight planet, showing their colors and relative sized, using just rubber bands and paper."

From Maker Lab, 28 Super Cool Projects put out be the Smithsonian. I received the book from Amazon Vine. It has some really fun experiments and projects. Most if not all ingredients can be found in your home. The book says they are for the 8 to 12 year old. I am long past the age. It did not stop me from trying a few and having a really good time doing them.
