In My Mailbox, April 8, 2012

In My Mail Box is hosted by The Story Siren and is an opportunity to share the books I get each week.

Several of my pre-orders from Amazon arrived this week.

The Duke's Perfect Wife by Jennifer Ashley
Just Down the Road by Jodi Thomas
Alien Diplomacy by Gini Koch
The Coca Conspiracy by Andrea Penrose
Devil's Punch by Ann Aguirre
The Seduction of Phaeton Black by Jullian Stone

I also downloaded several free books from NetGalley.  One of the interesting things I learned at the Online Book Bloggers and Publishers Conference was that I could email the eARC's from NetGalley to my new Kindle.  I really love that feature and it means my Nook gets less use and my Kindle more.

Desert Blade by Ella Drake
Zero Gravity Outcasts by Kay Keppler
Lessons After Dark  by Isabel Cooper
Worldsoul by Liz Williams
Somebody to Love by Kristan Higgins

And last but not least from Angry Robot free as part of the Robot Army I downloaded:

Suited, The Veiled Worlds by Jo Anderson

I haven't heard of these books, but I hope you love them! Hmm... The Duke's Perfect Wife sounds like something that would be right up my ally-- even though I only review YA books on my blog, I think I'll eventually get into some more adult-like historical romance because they sound like so much fun! ;)

You can check out my IMM video and post for this week at the link below-- Happy Reading! :)

Hi Jo,

Is it me, or are more and more books getting uploaded to Amazon, without any synopsis? It is really frustrating to have to search a myriad other sites to try and find out something about a book.

Rant over, but I needed to check out some of your great titles this week. I picked out a few that I might add to my reading list 'The Duke's Perfect Wife','Just Down The Road', 'The Coca Conspiracy' and 'Somebody To Love'.

Although I have never come across any of the authors before, they all sound like great finds and I hope that you enjoy them all.

Have a good week,

Yvonne
