Book Beginnings on Fridays June 15, 2012

Book Beginnings on Friday is a meme hosted by Gilion at Rose City Reader. Anyone can participate; just share the opening sentence of your current read, making sure that you include  include the title and author so others know what you're reading.

My book this week is one that has been sitting on my TBR pile for awhile.  It is The Duke's Perfect Wife (Highland Pleasures #4) by Jennifer Ashley.  Here is the opening paragraph.

Hart McKenzie.
It was said that he knew every pleasure a woman desired and exactly how to give it to her.  Hart wouldn't ask what the lady wanted, and she might not even know herself, but she would understand once he's finished. and she'd want it again."

Two things stand out: "Perfect Wife" and the ambiguity of the use of the word pleasure. Makes me curious to know the next few lines.

Here's my Book Beginning.

This sounds like a great beginning to a romance. I would hope that he would run up against a woman who isn't as easy to please. Happy reading!

I'm betting that he's going to run into someone who's more of a challenge....

Here's my Friday Meme Post.

I second Kathy and Bev's posts. He's going to meet that one person and its not going to be that easy.

Hi Jo,

I agree with everyone else, that he is sure to be going to meet his match somewhere along the way and after a quick peek at the full synopsis, I would really like to be there to see those photographs!!!!

Thanks for sharing this one with us,

Have a great weekend,

Yvonne

I'm not familiar with this series, but it sounds more like something my wife would enjoy. Thanks for visiting my blog earlier.

Very interesting beginning. Another one where I have to see what you think about after you have finished it.
