Book Beginnings on Friday November 4, 2011

Book Beginnings on Friday is a meme hosted by Katy from A Few More Pages. Anyone can participate; just share the opening sentence of your current read, making sure that you include the title and author so others know what you're reading.

Here is my opening sentence this week:

"He rode toward them out of the sunset, a knight upon a mile-white destrier with his armor burnished to eye-stinging splendor by rays of orange and gold."

This is from Seduced By Grace, Book 3 in The Three Graces of Graydon series by Jennifer Blake.  I though this was a great beginning to the Lady Marguerite's story.

Sounds like he is the hero of the novel.

Oh, nice! If he had gone into the sunset instead of the other way it would have been a great ending, too, :).

Very descriptive, it evokes a rather stunning image. I'm not familiar with this series, I'll have to check it out.
