This sounds good. I've only read one Pratchett book (Unseen Academicals) so far. That one was okay...I'm wondering if this would be even better.

I adore Terry Pratchett. I'm really looking forward to this one. The beginning is certainly promising.

My husband is a great Terry Pratchett fan, I not so much. I started one book and gave up after ten pages.
This beginning sounds like from one of those classic where they always recount the chapter at first. Love it!
