My Teaser today is from Berserker by Fred Saberhagen. Berserker is our Science Fiction Book Club book for July. Berserker is a group of short stories about humanities fight with machines turned loose in the galaxy by an unknown race. The machines are programed to destroy all life. This quote is on page 33 and is in the story titled "Goodlife"."The speaker's voice was a high-pitched torrrent of clicks and whines."
