Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers.
My teaser this week is from Blood Memory by Margaret Coel. I read all of her Wind River Mystery Series but had not realized that she had a new series until I saw The Perfect Suspect, book two in the library. I don't like to read out of order and when I checked book one Blood Memory was available. The book is set in Denver where I lived for many years. For me it adds something when I know the area and landmarks where a story is set.
"I'm going to tell you what I told Maury. I didn't marry Lawrence for his money and I didn't divorce him for his money. Is that understood?"
"I've read some of your articles I pulled a number of them this morning. You dig beneath the PR releases Maybe you've stepped on somebody's toes......Got somebody mad enough to send a killer after you?"
From Page 19 of Blood Memory.

Sounds like an interesting mystery. The author is new to me too.
I have a teaser from Winterling by Sarah Prinieas and from Magic Gifts by Ilona Andrews this week. Happy reading!
I enjoyed your teasers. I like to read books about places I've lived too (or at least visited).
