Musing Monday's July 15, 2013

Musing Mondays (http://shouldbereading.wordpress.com/) asks you to muse about one of the following each week…
MusingMondays5• Describe one of your reading habits. •
Tell us what book(s) you recently bought for yourself or someone else, and why you chose that/those book(s).
• What book are you currently desperate to get your hands on? Tell us about it!
 • Tell us what you’re reading right now — what you think of it, so far; why you chose it; what you are (or, aren’t) enjoying it.
•Do you have a bookish rant? Something about books or reading (or the industry) that gets your ire up? Share it with us!
 • Instead of the above questions, maybe you just want to ramble on about something else pertaining to books — let’s hear it, then!

How many of you are getting invitations to author's "Street Teams"?  I just started getting some and wonder if this is something new?  Am I among the first or last the hear about this?

The teams I have been invited to join are all Romance writers.  Is this unique to this book category?

One of the first to invite me was Donna Alward.  She writes for Harlequin.  As a member of her team I received a autographed copy of A Cowboy to Come Home To.  The book will be my feature on Teaser Tuesdays and I will be giving away a copy to one lucky visitor.  Come over tomorrow for a chance to win.

I didn;t know about street teams for promoting books. I only know that they use street teams to promote musics. Good for you.
Thanks for visiting my blog :)

Nope. Never heard of street teams! So either it's knew, or we are both wet behind the ears! I will happily visit you tomorrow.

I just found out about street teams and what they are a couple weeks ago and I joined one! :) I'm really liking it cause I get news and updates first hand on everything about the book and author and it's really interesting! :)

No, I never heard of it either...but then I don't read romance..and don't really need anymore sources for books.
